Mixed Media

Here I was influenced by mixed media – both abstract art and photography. I researched artists that use photography and poster -like work and then I experimented with different abstract styles and colours.

Fusing both of these together and polarising my photography to black and white created an interesting take on modern abstraction. I wanted to create a certain depth to the pieces by adding many variations of colour and geometric shapes. ​
