I wanted to experiment with the topic of ordinary and extraordinary in an urban setting using superimposed photographs I took in London. I chose the houses of Parliament as something that could be seen as very familiar, but by using this iconic building and layering a photograph of graffiti over it, I hoped it would prompt different ideas about what is ordinary and what is extraordinary.
